Brass Monkey and Tiger in Boat, Dhokra Art
The Dhokra artwork of central and eastern India, shows two tribals wearing monkey and the tiger costumes respectively, rowing a thatched boat. This scene from the jataka tales has been depicted with lost wax technique in metal casting.
